RECOMMEND FOR BEGINNERS

Delicious, even without the heat.

"It's a spicy place, so maybe it's not for me"
— have you ever thought that?
The zero-heat "Machimusume (no spice)" lets you enjoy purely the umami of Tochigi Shamo chicken and the sweetness of Kanuma chives — a bowl so gentle you'd never guess it came from a Karamen specialist.
If you're not good with spice, or just want to drop by on your own, please feel free.

03

Choose your heat

SHIN-WARABE-JUKU

In every bowl at Warabe, there's a rank to climb.

Thirteen ranks modeled on Edo-era warrior society are the spice levels. From Machimusume (no spice), freely chosen by anyone, up to Rōjū (Lv.9) — how you face the heat decides your "standing."

Shogun (Lv.10) and above are rank-up only. Only those who finish Rōjū may knock on the next door. Finish to rank up; fail and drop one rank. You must drink the broth dry. And when you finally reach Tenkabito (Lv.12), your name is engraved in the Warabe Hall of Fame.
